We are so excited that you are jumping into the world of couponing, and decided to take this journey with us! We are here to help in any way we can, so please feel free to email us any time: email@example.com.
Starting this adventure can be really overwhelming….but you have 2 Binder Ladies (Jen & Dee!) to ease you into it and get you couponing the RIGHT way. We use the word “coupon,” as a verb, because it’s something we DO….and something we love.
Don’t understand what this “coupon craze” is all about? Don’t think you have time for it? We will change your mind and attitude about couponing, and get you as excited about it as we are!
You will get out of couponing, what you put into it. The more effort = the more savings. Follow us, and we’ll help you reduce the amount of effort, to get the most results! For a specific breakdown of what you’ll need to know, please read our GUIDE TO COUPONING! Then, stay tuned for some really fun and exciting Coupon Classes in the future! We will also be posting helpful tips and answering reader questions on the blog, so be sure to come back as often as you can.
What you can learn here:
What you can learn here:
Learn how to efficiently and effectively collect, organize and use coupons! We’ll also show you how to get the best deals for online shopping, drugstores, grocery stores, retail stores and restaurants!
One of The Binder Ladies’ mantras is “You gotta know when to hold ’em and know when to fold ’em!” Just because you have a coupon, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll use it. We’ll show you when sales cycles change, when to use your coupons to get the rock bottom prices and when to expect sales on specific items!
Where CAN you use coupons? What stores are the best stores to use your coupons in? Where can you find coupons? All of these questions and more will be answered!
What you will NOT learn here:
*You will NOT learn how to “extreme coupon” and clear shelves.
*You will NOT learn how to cheat the system.
*You will NOT learn how to misuse coupons.
A few things you’ll notice on our blog:
We coupon because we love it. We will happily say, “Even if I win the lottery – I would still coupon!” This being said, we are both on tight budgets – with a specific amount of money each week allotted to shop with.
We notice that other blogs and websites will post an item as being “FREE,” yet when you read the details, you must SPEND money to get that item for free.
Here’s how we shop, and how we will teach you: If something is FREE (that means at the MOST, you may pay tax), we will post it as free. If you have to spend money out of pocket to get the item, we will post the DEAL – but not claim that it’s “free.”
Some online deals may offer you (for example) a customized photobook for “FREE!”…..but you still must pay shipping (let’s say, $5.99). We will NOT post that the photobook is free. You’ll see our post about it, and notice that we’ll say the book is $5.99, because that’s the actual amount you’ll have to pay.
Walgreens and Rite Aid are both awesome stores, and they give BACK money in the form of Register Rewards and +UP Rewards – coupons that are printed with your receipt that can be used on almost anything in the store. These are AWESOME, and we “roll” them every week to make more Rewards, and spend LESS out of pocket. A lot of deals posted on the internet will tell you that something is “FREE” at one of these stores, because it pays you back. True, it does! But you have to SPEND money to GET the Rewards (even if it’s a “moneymaker” and you are spending less to get BIGGER rewards). You’ll notice our posts saying, “LIKE getting it for free after Rewards.”
Once again….if money comes out of our pockets – that isn’t free to us.
Our budgets don’t allow for us to wait for rebates or depend on paying “a little here to get more there” in Rewards. We DO use rebates, and we DO use the Rewards to our advantage, though! We’ll show you how!
We believe in ethical and moral couponing – and that spills over into our blog, as well. If we find a deal from another Blogger’s site, we will give credit where credit is due. You’ll find their link under the post, and we encourage you to check them out!
